London’s Vegan Night Market is Back!

Carly-Ann Clements, Oct 2017

East London is fast becoming famed for its food markets. It seems like a weekend can’t go
by without a collection of themed stalls setting up shop for a day or two. But some are
different. Some stand head and shoulders above the rest. And after a one-night-only jaunt,
the latest star on the foodie scene is back.

Between Okja, education of the masses and the dozens of fad pop-ups that come to town on a regular basis, veganism is a movement that refuses to stop growing. So when you combine it with London’s favourite gastro trend, you’re in for a pretty great time. So it was no surprise that Vegan Nights on Brick Lane was a huge success.

On Thursday November 23, Vegan Nights Vol.2 will take over Boiler House once again. The venue will be swarming with the capital’s biggest vegan street food names who will all be serving up their Instagram famous foods. The line-up is yet to be announced but if the last one if anything to go by – which featured the likes of What the Pitta, Biff’s Jack Shack, Vida Bakery and Temple of Seitan – this celebration of cruelty-free food will make even the most carnivorous consider switching to the vegan side. In additional to delicious, guilt-free dishes, vegan beer will be served at the bar .
The event runs form 5pm – 10pm and is free but you’ll obvs have to pay for each individual dish and drink.
