Is there anything more exciting than the opening of a new restaurant? Here at London Revealed, we take no greater pleasure than sharing the latest news of the hip new establishments opening their doors across the capital and this spring you can expect some very exciting additions to the
London culinary scene, each with a unique characteristic to bring to the table. So get ready to make some reservations my friends, as here we have for you the most exciting restaurant openings for 2019:
Bob Bob Cité – The Leadenhall Building – March 2019.
Housing one of the most Instagrammed restaurant features of all time, the offshoot restaurant of Bob Bob Ricard has a lot to live up to. It may already be nearly a year and a half overdue but Bob Bob Cité, along with its inimitable ‘Press for Champagne’ button, should be opening at the Leadenhall building in March.
‘Nathan Outlaw at The Goring’ – Spring 2019.
If you’re a fan of seafood (Cornish seafood in particular), you’re not going to want to miss this one. And since a new restaurant hasn’t opening at the Goring hotel (favourite of the Royal family) in 109 years, there is no doubt it’s going to be something special.
Arros QD – The Plaza – Spring 2019.
Another late-running but no less exciting opening comes from superstar chef Quique Dacosta (proud possessor of 3 Michelin stars), whose first London restaurant will incorporate dishes such the Spanish classic paella with a fine dining twist.
Nutshell London – Covent Garden – Spring 2019.
There’s no doubt that Iranian food is really having a moment in the capital and if you’re a fan of the aromatic and flavoursome delicacies of this nation, then the Nutshell is going to be one to tick off the list.
Wahlburgers – Covent Garden – Spring 2019.
It feels like London has been waiting forever for their very own branch of Wahlburgers, which is the brain child of chef Paul Wahlberg and his brothers Donnie and world-famous actor, Mark. Our mouths are watering just looking at the pictures.
‘Wild by Tart’ – Victoria – Spring 2019.
A long time in the making, culinary partners Jemima Jones and Lucy Carr-Ellison will be opening their very first restaurant in Spring 2019, after receiving wide acclaim for their juice bar and deli.
‘The Halal Guys’ – Leicester Square – March 2019
It’s one of the most delightful things in the world to see a street food cart hit the big time thanks to their delicious wares and this is very much the case with the Halal Guys, whose success in New York will be set to repeat in London’s Leicester Square in March.
